From the moment our party of five adults and one child stepped into Long Paddock Lindenow, we knew we were in for a treat. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between elegance and comfort, making it an ideal spot for both family dinners and special occasions. Each dish we ordered was prepared to perfection, showcasing the skill and attention to detail of the chefs. The highlight of our culinary journey was undoubtedly the strawberry cheesecake. This dessert was a masterpiece, balancing sweetness and tartness exquisitely, and it came highly recommended by our friendly and attentive server. The staff deserves a special mention for their exceptional service. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. The child-friendly environment made our little one feel welcome, adding to the overall positive experience. Dilectable on almost all counts. Friendly staff, very reasonable prices, great menu, timely service, locally produced ingredients, in house made desserts. Lovely old building of the era in location with furnishing to suit. Only adverse comments would be the acoustics of the room we were in made conversation difficult without being extremely loud, and therefore having to listen to adjacent tables discussions, and secondly access would appear to be typical of a previous time not catering for those in a wheelchair.

This beautiful cafe was the highlight of our trip to the area - it’s definitely worth a short detour via Lindenow. Service is so friendly and warm and genuinely welcoming. Tables out front are perfect- fresh air, shaded, and offer a view of green fields and of local life in this tiny hamlet. Lots of tables are available inside too. The food menu is the star of the show - uniquely creative dishes which not only look gorgeous but are packed full of flavour. And make sure you try one of the sensational sweet treats on display in the glass cabinets - you won’t regret it! Great coffee too. Highly recommended.
